Between 2015 and 2016, the CNMC fined 21 manufacturers, 130 dealers and 2 consultants for anti-competitive practices, when it was proven that they had agreed to set the prices of the cars. This cartel was a clear damage to consumers, who paid more for their vehicles than they should have. The Supreme Court confirmed those fines, opening the door to complaints from users.
