Preliminary Ruling Issue (the so called "Cuestión Prejudicial" in Spanish Civil Law)

A preliminary ruling occurs when, in order to resolve the object of a dispute, it is necessary to resolve an issue that constitutes the object of another dispute before the same or a different civil court, provided that the accumulation of proceedings was not possible.
