Are there alternatives to the “nest house” system after a divorce in Spain?

In the event that the daily life derived from the "nest house" can be traumatic for minors by generating discomfort, tension and conflict in coexistence, let's see other alternatives.

The most usual thing is to liquidate the co-ownership of the family home, awarding it to one of the parents, through the appropriate compensation to the other.

But, when this situation is not economically viable, there is the possibility that the use of the home is attributed to one of the ex-spouses, and the other must be compensated monthly, as if it was the payment of a rent.
