Deadline for the Opposition to Provisional Executions of Spanish Civil Rulings

When we are facing monetary convictions in Spanish Law, the executed party may not oppose the provisional execution, but only specific executive actions of the enforcement procedure in the terms of article 528.3 of the Civil Procedural Law.

For OPPOSITION TO SPECIFIC EXECUTIVE ACTIONS, once the Order has been notified dispatching provisional execution of the sentence, the term granted for this purpose is that of article 529 paragraph 1 of the Spanish Civil Procedure Law, 5 days, and a filing opposing must be submitted to the corresponding Court within those 5 days.
