Irregular Stay Legislation in Spain:

Article 53 of the Organic Immigration Act Serious infractions are:

a) Being in Spanish territory illegally, though not having obtained or for their having expired for more than three months an extension of stay, a residency authorization or analogous documents, when they are required, and provided that the interested party has not applied for their renewal within the time limit specified by regulation.

Irregular Punishment in Spain:

Fine from € 501 up to € 10,000 (Article 55).
